Mini Ninjas Program
The Mini Ninjas program caters for the specific needs of the 3-6 year old.
The program is a fun filled half hour building confidence, spirit and basic karate techniques. This group is still developing balance, co-ordination, an understanding of directions and their ability to follow instructions. This class is a great preparation for early school years and by its nature bully proofs our little ones. The program is run by senior adult instructors all with working with children checks and who are experienced in working with children.This class covers basic martial arts techniques,life skills training such as fire safety, stranger danger, healthy eating and many other topics.
The Ninjas program is designed for children 7-12 yrs.
This program is still very much about having fun with Karate but we focus more on building strong technique and developing great martial arts basics, self defense strategies and physical skills. Some real talent starts to emerge in this age group and focus and concentration improves dramatically and starts to reflect in other areas of the student’s life.
The Ninjas class is 30 minutes in length and is an excellent program with the following additional benefits;

The 13-15 year age group insist on high energy, fun classes that offer a balance of comfort and challenge. These classes have a high fitness component that tap into the energy level of this maturing group. The Legends as the name suggests are one of the most intense and powerful groups in the dojo. Instructors assist in developing leadership skills, managing individuality and focusing energy into positive action.

The Leaders group caters to 16yrs and above and recognises the additional maturity and responsibility of this age group.
Many different ages and fitness levels come to these classes so don’t be put off if you think you are too old, too big, too weak, too unfit! Everybody started at the beginning and we all had a certain level of discomfort in our first class. Take a lighter look at it and be comfortable that you can make mistakes, look unco-ordinated or gasp for breath! We all did!
You will learn all the required Karate techniques as well as incease your fitness and make an incredible group of new friends. Did I mention we have a load of fun as well!
The Ten-X program is another great fun way to improve your fitness while learning some authentic self defence techniques. The classes are fast paced with lots of bag and pad work. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels as you are able to work at your own pace. Children, women and guys all welcome. Bring a friend for a great weekly catch-up. If you are looking for more a boxing style work out these classes are for you.
Sparring is self expression of learnt techniques in action with another. Everyone has something to offer.
Sparring is an opportunity for individuals to share their knowledge of martial arts techniques with respect for self and each other.
Self awareness, self discipline and self control in a controlled and safe environment. You may commence sparring training from Orange belt and above from Legends to Leaders.
Kobudo is learning the discipline of traditional weapons.
Weapons are an extension of the martial arts technique.
The life we breathe into our karate technique is enhanced and exaggerated through traditional weapons. Kobudo is a great addition to your training and is available to orange belts and above. At One we rotate through Bo, Sai, Arnis and Tonfa.
